Britt started competing in Junior Showmanship at 10 years old with our Great Dane, "Diamond".  She later became co-owner of two wonderful Australian Shepherds, "Jazz" and "Daphne".  Britt and Jazz were quite a team racking up enough wins that quailified Britt to receive an inviation to compete at the Eukanuba Cup in Florida.  Britt continued on in Junior Showmanship with "Daphne" at her side winning Best Junior in both AKC and ASCA shows.  But eventually, Britt missed showing a Dane and groomed "Latte" for the Junior ring.  The two became a knock-out duo.  But, the team ended all too soon when our beloved Latte passed away from kidney disease. 

Britt began a new start in Juniors with our boy, "Midas" (CH. Olympus' The Midas Touch).  WOW, what a success that turned out to be!!  The first weekend out, Britt and Midas placed 3rd in the highly competitive Open Senior class of 15 Juniors.  The next day, the duet pulled out all the stops and won 1st place in the class of 15!  And then, went on to win BEST JUNIOR defeating a total of 38 Juniors!!!  

After several years of hard work and perfecting her handling skills, Britt became my assistant in the Breed rings with tremendous success.  She aged out of the Jr. competition on her 18th birthday and turned professional.  Britt is now my trusted partner and a superb handler.
